This is one of those teacher jobs that we all have to do- usually during back to school (along with a multitude of other jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)... If you like what you see above, let me do this job for you! Click the link to head over to the resource...

Here are a few tips to make sub planning just a bit easier...

-Print out plans (this seems simple, but how many times have you been at work and asked to do some "quick" plans for your neighbor that didn't leave any???)

-Print activities and copy enough for your class

-Separate activities to match Day 1 plans, Day 2 plans, Day 3 plans (You should always have 3 days of plans ready, just in case...)

-Always have some copies ready for extra work, just in case, and attach some to your sub plans

-Fill out a Schedule Specials sheet and attach to all days of plans, include times - you won't know what days you're going to be out, so your sub needs to know what specials you have

-Add a sheet of labels to your plans for name tags

-Add a class list to all days of plans

-Place all Day 1 items into a folder and clearly mark. Do the same thing for Day 2, and Day 3 activities

-Show a colleague where you keep your emergency plans!!!

-Leave a copy of plans/instructions with the front office

*Hopefully you will never need them, but if you do, now you’re ready, and you can rest easy!!
